just thought i'd drop in and say hello. Been around for a couple of days and I'm enjoying it so far. Yes I am blind as the screenname suggests, I'm an american born Japanese guy, I used to work in the Post Production/Media/Entertainment field before I lost my vision in 2008. Don't know what else to say here but I thought I'd do the proper thing and intro myself around here. Hit me up sometime...

Hi, welcome. I'm Ryan. I usually just come on invisibly to brouse the boards. I don't take part in public quicknotes as much as I used to since sehool demands some time, plus I haven't found much useful from them except for the occasional amusement. I have been partially blind since birth with the vision in my left eye slightly cloudier than it used to be, but it isn't anything drastic. I'm sure going from all to nothing is a different story, but I've seen people progress regardless of losing all their vision. Hope you enjoy this site.
Yes it was very traumatic for me at first but I've learned to go with it. Life doesn't end when one of your senses goes away, you just learn to use the others more effectively hehe. Thanks for the welcome and I'll catch you around the place.
